Dr Ahmed Baker Principal Dentist BDS (Lond) MFDS RCS (Glasg)

Ahmed has over 18 years experience working as a dentist. He qualified from Guy’s and St Thomas’s Dental Institute in 2000. He has also gained qualifications from the membership examinations both at the Royal College of Physicians in Glasgow & the Royal College of Surgeons in England.

Ahmed has worked in several areas of dentistry, these include; oral surgery hospital training, primary care for children in community dental services and general dental practice.

Ahmed became the principal dentist at Huntingdon Dental Care in 2009. He carried out major modernisation of the premises and has brought in highly qualified specialist dentists. Ensuring that patients in Huntingdon and surrounding areas have access to a high standard of specialist dental care as well as routine dentistry.

He has continued to develop his skills in advanced restorative dentistry attending multiple training courses in this field, and has focus on providing high quality of dental care to his patients. He works very closely with our visiting oral surgeon in restoring dental implants and has been doing so for the past 8 years.

Ahmed has a passion for the work he provides, he has great work ethic and enjoys interacting with his patients.

Dr Zahraa Al-Ali Principal Partner BDS (Hons) Lond. MFDS RCS (Glasg)

Zahraa carried out her dental training at Kings College London University, which encompasses Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas hospitals, and graduated with Honours in 2011. After graduating, she carried out her vocational training in Norfolk and joined Huntingdon Dental Care in 2012. She has also gained qualifications from the membership examinations both at the Royal College of Physicians in Glasgow & the Royal College of Surgeons in England.

She became principal partner in 2016, having been a staple in the practice fabric, with many loyal patients. Zahraa has a calm and caring approach, treating anxious patients in a reassuring manner to help them overcome the fears of undergoing dental treatment.

Her main interests are dental aesthetics, composite veeners and composite bonding. She has a keen interest and loves treating patients in this field. She has been on several dental aesthetic courses and training by renowned aesthetic dentists to perfect her skills and add to her knowledge.

Gabriela Dementer

GDC No. 289211

Gabriela qualified as a dental hygienist in 2017. She is very passionate about oral health and is always determined to give her patients the best advice and care. With a caring approach Gabriela ensures that our patients leave with the feeling that they have been treated with respect and dignity.

Gemma joined Huntingdon Dental Care in 2014 after moving to the area from Bournemouth. Her role is to assist with the running of the practice, ensuring that both patients and the staff members are happy. Gemma is a key member of our team; she overlooks the smooth running of the practice on day to day basis, ensures that infection control procedures are fully enrolled at all times and ensures our practice is fully compliant with CQC guidelines.
